I can apply the strategy to problem solving questions involving circles
The 400 metre track.
Take the two semicircles ends and find the radius, that is 36.5 then double that to make 73, then times that by pi which is 229.34 metres then you divide it by 2 which is 114.67 and that's what the ends are. For the sides you minus 400 with 229.34 which equals 170.66, half 170.66 which equals 85.33 that is the lengths of the sides.
- 85.33m, 85.33m, 114.67 and 114.67
