Probability Learning

In Maths we have been learning to:

Compare and describe the variation between theoretical and experimental distributions in situations that involve elements of chance.

Calculate probabilities, using fractions, percentages, and ratios.

Here is a link to our online modelling book that supports this learning.

Here is some evidence of my learning.

My next step is to continue to apply my knowledge of statistics and probability in a variety of real world situations and contexts.

Techonolgy blog post #5

At technology Dabok and I moved to our new class, foods, we cooked hot dog traps and did lots of writing in our books. I learnt lots of cool things about safety and hygiene and the teacher told a lot of story's about cooking problems that she has experience she also told us a lot about what we are making this term which include cookies and cupcakes.

The Care value I showed was respect because I listened respectfully to all the story's and information that she had talked about.

Key leadership role #5

In my leadership role this week Leeana and I get to buy lots of sport gear but before that happens we have to go around the hubs and find out what kind of sports gear people want to play with at morning tea and lunch time. The student leaders as a group has not had many meetings as Mr Ladbrook was at the year 7 camp.

The Care value I showed was Community because I am not only going to ask the year 7/8's but I am going to ask most of the school Community.
